$22.25/hour; 40 hours/week

Bachelor's degree or education and training equivalent to four (4) years of college education in recreation administration, physical education or a closely related field, supplemented by three (3) years of experience as a leisure service provider. Valid South Carolina Class "C" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within six (6) months from initial date of employment
The Program Coordinator performs professional work planning, developing, administering, and coordinating a variety of leisure service programs for all ages and populations. Work includes, but is not limited to, supervision of supporting staff, evaluates existing programs and events, handles logistical arrangements for programs and events, and participates in budget preparation. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Recreation Division Manager. A successful candidate must have supervisory experience, strong public relations skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
