- Bachelor's degree or education and training equivalent to four (4) years of college education in recreation administration, physical education, or a closely related field, supplemented by three (3) years of experience as a leisure service provider
- Valid South Carolina driver's license
The Recreation Division Manager plans, directs, and supervises the operations and activities of the Recreation Services Division. Work performed includes, but is not limited to, develops, recommends, and implements division policies and procedures, supervises and evaluates operations, and plans and directs facility acquisition, development and improvement projects. This position must have knowledge of current trends and methods of recreation programming and event planning. A successful candidate must have supervisory experience, strong public relations skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
