Public Information & Media Relations Officer
The City of Lake City is accepting applications for Public Information & Media Relations Officer.
Job Duties: Provide the public with information about emergencies or community events. Provide media with accurate, timely information about the extent of emergency incidents, or community events. Plan, research, develop, coordinate, and implement programs, events, strategies and activities to promote a positive image of the Police Department.
Qualification: Considerable knowledge of the principles, techniques and methods of public relations, marketing and communications. Knowledge of the processes and equipment used in the design and preparation of multimedia graphics, brochures, and other visual aids. Knowledge of advertising and publicity techniques.
Pay based on knowledge and experience.
