ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Gannett’s B2B Marketing team is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team. Reporting into the Director of Growth, the Digital Marketing Manager supports our ambitious vision by driving and scaling our digital acquisition strategy for paid, social, and organic channels to drive quality leads that convert to closed/won sales.
LocaliQ’s Digital Marketing Manager will plan, develop, and execute campaigns across channels to drive inbound leads for WordStream.com and LocaliQ.com. This person will rigorously optimize, test and report on outcomes daily. As the Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for aggressively growing LocaliQ’s customer base by planning strategy, developing tests, and executing to hit lead targets. We are looking for a self-starter, comfortable with data and has direct experience running marketing programs, optimizing web pages, testing copy, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
- Manages A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
- Builds and optimizes landing pages and user funnels.
- Measures and reports on performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
- Partners with the brand and product marketing teams to optimize and test creative assets, landing pages, and ad copy.
- Research competitors and provides suggestions for improvement.
- Collaborates with internal teams to optimize user experience.
- Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices
- Management and reporting of all digital acquisition metrics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis (ie CTRs, CPCs, CPM, CPL)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
- Able to develop and manage budgets
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
- Solid knowledge of website and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Marketo, SalesForce, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the industry
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $45,000 and $105,800. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
