Job Title: 1589 FT Loan Operations Associate - Jasper, IN
Summary of Duties
Detail-orientation, accuracy, and a heart for internal customer service are the attributes we are looking for in the next associate to join our Loan Operations Team. As a Loan Operations Associate, you utilize industry experience and knowledge to provide support to lending personnel and all other internal customers, creating and maintaining complete and accurate loan files.
What You’ll Do:
- A Day in the Life – You
will work within a portfolio of existing retail and commercial loans,
accurately servicing loan accounts, reconciling general ledger accounts,
retaining loan documents, and processing loan correspondence. Your knack for detail comes in handy as you are reviewing documentation that is sent to external customers and maintaining excellent supporting documentation. Your communication with both external and internal customers will be key in providing great customer service.
- You’re Part of a Team – You are a member of the Loan Operations Team, working primarily with the retail line of business. This dynamic team works with both commercial and retail loans and follows the loan from inception, past closing, and into maintenance. Each day you will work closely with your fellow loan operations team members, lenders, and loan assistants throughout southern Indiana and Kentucky, as well as third party vendors.

- Ability to: communicate effectively (written and verbally), maintain confidentiality, work with speed and accuracy, grasp technical information quickly, apply solid reasoning, analytical and mathematical skill, and work independently and as a team member.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation to complete complex tasks
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
- Knowledge or strong desire to learn facets or core servicing software and loan products and services
Bonus Points
- Previous lending and/or processing experience
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements, lien perfection, and real estate
- Bilingual/Multilingual
