Gruda Veterinary Hospital is a privately-owned practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico, looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our fantastic team!

We are a well-established AAHA-accredited veterinary practice, and we pride ourselves in being an independently owned clinic able to provide referral-level specialty care to our local community and to the state. You have the unique opportunity to practice high level medicine in a private practice setting while receiving advanced training in your area of interest if you choose.

Gruda Veterinary Hospital was established in 2000 by Dr. Gruda. Our now nine doctor practice is continuing to grow with the expansion of our beautiful community here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We provide a large range of services including routine preventive medical care, internal medicine, general surgery, specialty surgeries and orthopedics, endoscopy, dentistry, oncology, ultrasound and echocardiography, laser therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic for dogs, cats, and other small animals. The clinic is owned, managed, and run by people working directly in the clinic every day, which allows us to keep the decision making in the hands of the doctors for the betterment of our patients and our clinic.

Our clinic has an amazing support staff team who are highly skilled and trained to support our doctors, with ongoing continuing education required for both credentialed and non-credentialed staff. Each doctor is assigned two technicians specifically designated for your needs for the day, with additional floater technicians to help out with keeping the day running smoothly. Our reception staff is also fully staffed and highly experienced when it comes to appropriate appointment scheduling and client communication.

The building, which was designed by veterinarians, offers a large lobby with separate waiting areas for canine and feline patients. There is also a separate wing of two exam rooms completely dedicated to our feline patients. The main part of our hospital boasts five more exam rooms, one being a larger procedure room that allows us to do ultrasounds, acupuncture, laser therapy and much more. We are proud to be a Certified Feline Friendly Practice and have many Fear Free certified doctors and technicians. We are equipped with the usual full in-house lab diagnostics, digital radiography, a large double surgical suite, a spacious treatment room with two wet tables, two dental units with digital dental radiography, two procedure lift tables and four computer stations for doctors to easily work at while examining their patients. The clinic also has a separate doctor's office, upstairs apartment and much more! We continuously update our equipment and make sure we're well stocked with the latest available medications and treatments.

How do we support our team? Gruda Veterinary Hospital is recognized as one of the leading practices in Santa Fe and the state of New Mexico. We are dedicated to our entire team by providing immense support, a collaborative environment, educational growth and advanced training, mentorship and a work-life balance. Our veterinarians have a fully flexible schedule that can range from 3-4 working days per week; depending on YOUR preference (some Saturdays are required). We can tailor your workload to your needs depending on your areas of interest and focus. We're happy to add more surgeons and dentists to our team but we also have several DVMs who prefer to perform no anesthetized procedures at all. We also offer very competitive salaries with bonuses and excellent benefits that include PTO, a 401K plan, profit sharing, health and dental insurance, life/disability/liability insurance, fully paid CE and professional licenses.

Sign on bonuses are discussed during the interview process.
