The Mullins Housing Authority Board of Commissioners are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Executive Director to direct, plan, and organize all aspects of the Housing Authority's operations, including, but not limited to: finance, property management, modernization, personnel, maintenance and resident service. Candidate should be knowledgeable of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development regulation relating to Federal housing programs, have experience in administration, management and operation of public sector programs. The housing authority manages 194 low rent housing units and 60 Section 8 vouchers. The Executive Director will also serve as the housing authority's contacting officer and must have knowledge in working with federal and state procurement regulations. The Executive Director will report to a five member board of commissioners and serve as its secretary/treasurer. The candidate must have a four year degree and or equivalent combination of five (5) years or more of progressively responsible experience administering subsidized housing programs. Must possess a valid state of South Carolina driver's license and must be insurable and bondable.
