DRIVER EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR

PART-TIME DRIVER EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR NEEDED IN GASTONIA, NC
FOR GASTON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOLS

Great Part-Time opportunity for retired teachers, retired law enforcement, retired state workers, retired military, ministers, & pastors.

• $25 per hour
• 60 hours per month minimum
• Must be available to work after school during the school year. (September-May).
• Hours may be between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm during the summer. (June, July, August).
• Must take an 80-hour (two-week) certification course.
• Responsibilities may include teaching High School Freshman a 30-hour classroom course and/or 6 hours of behind the wheel training.
• Must have at least 4 years of experience as a licensed operator of a motor vehicle.
• Must have not been convicted of a felony involving moral turpitude in the last 10 yrs.
• Must not have any revocation or suspension of license in the last 5 years.
• Must have graduated from High School or have High School equivalency certificate.
• Must not have convictions for moving violations totaling 4 points in the last 5 years.
• Motor Vehicle Record and Background checks are completed prior to hiring.
