Hiring Dementia Caregivers/STNA/Direct Care Support
We are currently accepting applications for full time Direct Care Staff at our Toledo and Northwood location, all shifts available. No experience needed, on-site training is available. Applicants should be caring and compassionate individuals who love working with the elderly. Salary is based upon experience.
Responsibilities
- Remind prescribed medication
- Assist residents with ambulation and mobility around the house
- Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
- Perform light housekeeping duties that residents cannot complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
