Golf Course Maintenance

This position is responsible for maintaining the golf courses such as semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and operate small hand powered equipment. The Crew member may be assigned responsibility for the care and maintenance of the club properties and does related work as required.

· Set the golf courses up for daily play: cutting of new cups, placement and moving of tee markers, checking ball washers, moving of cart restrictive devices, repairing and damaged areas of greens and tee boxes as needed.

· Operates mowers, string trimmers in mowing of greens, tees, roughs, fairways, and debris blowing throughout the property.

· Assist in project work that may include construction of new greens, tees, and fairways.

· Prior knowledge of concrete work is a plus as well as the safe removal and cutting of trees.

· Maybe required to use heavy equipment including backhoe, dump truck, and tractors.

· Be able to operate grounds utility vehicles, mowers and other light equipment.

· Familiarity in golf course maintenance and terminology preferred.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Valid driver’s license, background check and drug test required.
