The hourly rate for this position at Scotts/Hawthorne will generally fall between $27.70 - $35.90 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.

We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Orrville, OH.

Key Aspects:

• The Maintenance Coordinator will be the department lead in the development of a proactive maintenance focus, responsible for maintaining parts inventory and work order planning.
• The role will be primarily administrative, although some hands-on troubleshooting and repairs will be required.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Partner with Operations to plan and execute the maintenance plan.
• Communicate directly with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs and maintenance on parts of equipment including machines including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and pneumatic repairs.
• Assist with developing a comprehensive maintenance budget, manage payments for services, equipment and supplies.
• Responsible for maintaining parts inventory and the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
• May perform or assist in the installation of machinery and equipment.
• Be the site lead for the WCCO Professional Maintenance pillar.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Prior relevant maintenance or fabrication experience.
• Prior experience with CMMS preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Teachable attitude and ability to learn on the job in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime including weekends and holidays.
• Computer skills are required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
