Job Summary
Reporting to the District Director of Talent Acquisition, the Coordinator of Talent Acquisition is primarily responsible for providing support to the supervisor during the hiring process for faculty and staff positions. This position will assist with posting positions, initial applicant screening, addressing supervisor and candidate questions, managing the workflow of the recruitment process, creating a recommendation for hire, and assuring compliance throughout the search and selection process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Performance Requirements*
- Serves as a consultant to hiring supervisors in posting and filling positions
- Provides resources and tools for managing an effective search
- Manages and hires for frequently requested positions
- Conducts special searches using social media, recruitment websites, and job boards to fill hard-to-fill positions
- Partners with other members of the Human Resources (HR) team when creating and updating job descriptions are needed
- Collects and analyzes data and performs on-going evaluations to determine the effectiveness of recruitment
- Ensures departmental compliance with Human Resources policies, procedures, and practices
- Provides technical support to hiring supervisors
- Serves on committees or search teams
- Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essential performance requirements
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Works under the general supervision of the District Director of Talent Acquisition
*Performs Other Related Tasks as Required

Required Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years' working experience year's working experience in applicant tracking, recruitment metrics, interview and selection, sourcing, internet mining, and job board; or an equivalent combination of education and working experience; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and certification
- At least one (1) year's experience working in higher education
- Skilled in excellent customer service, collaboration, and interpersonal relationships
- Skilled in conducting competency and behavioral-based interviews
- Skilled using computer applications and enterprise systems, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
- Skilled in interpersonal interactions, and excellent oral and written communication to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
- Ability to work with a strong detail orientation and multi-task multiple competing priorities, pivot when needed due to interruptions and meet deadlines with little direct supervision
- Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations
- Ability to manage projects from start through implementation
- Ability to grasp concepts and procedures quickly, use sound judgment, and act with decisiveness

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representatives of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
