Police Chief - Town of Scranton
Essential Job Functions Include:
Plans, coordinates, supervises and evaluates department operations.
Develops policies and procedures for the department in order to implement directives from City Mayor or Administration.
Plans and implements a law enforcement program for the city.
Reviews department performance and effectiveness, formulates programs or policies to alleviate deficiencies.
Associate's degree in criminal justice, public administration or closely related field
Six (6) years work experience in law enforcement, three (3) of which shall have been in supervisory position.
Current certification with SCCJA
Law Trak operation knowledge
Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid South Carolina driver's license
