This position does require some lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 50lbs. There will be long periods of time sitting and working at their computer.

40 hours per week;Mostly Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm but there will be some evenings and weekends.
Job Summary
The Assistant Director for Aquatics supports UK Varsity Swimming and Diving and UK Campus Recreation in a 50/50 split by providing unparalleled aquatic programs, services, and facilities that support each unit's mission.
This position, under the guidance of the Campus Recreation Associate Director for Operations, assists in the oversite of all aquatic facility and infrastructure operations, maintaining and developing membership and facility access policies while providing safe and well-maintained facilities to students and the university community.
This position, under the guidance of the Athletics Director of Ops (Facilities & Events), coordinates Lancaster Aquatic Center's operation and configuration in support of varsity practices, meets, and special events.
