Employees in temporary positions are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave. Temporary employees are subject to the Affordable Care Act guidelines. To be considered for the main staff selection pool of applicants you must apply by February 13, 2023. Pay varies by position and is based on qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additional compensation includes housing and some meals when working.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- At a minimum graduation from high school and prior experience supervising residential activities
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check.
- Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Experience at residential summer program/camp
- First Aid and CPR Certifications for adult and child are required. Certifications must be obtained by June 5, 2023.
- Completion of online training modules and MarineQuest in-person staff training held June 5th – 9th, 2023 are required.
