2. POSITION SUMMARY |
This position will serve 90% of their role as custodians, and 10% of their role as a maintenance assistant. Maintain a clean and operationally efficient campus. Specific campus cleaning tasks will be assigned daily and will include but not be limited to the following: cleaning, sanitizing, polishing, trash gathering, parking lot and grounds clean up. This position will also have a minor role in the day-to-day performance of maintenance duties and handling basic building repairs if necessary, plus other duties as assigned. |

Maintains a clean and operationally efficient campus. Specific campus cleaning tasks assigned daily that will include, but not be limited to cleaning, sanitizing, polishing, trash gathering, parking lot and grounds clean up (trash pickup only).
Keep building maintained and in good condition by performing the following types of tasks: · Sweep and mop or vacuum floors · Empty trash · Clean and/or disinfect surfaces and clinic areas · Clean and service restrooms · Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors · Dust furniture · Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected · Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies · Organize janitorial storage areas · Notify supervisor about unsafe conditions or the need for repairs or maintenance |

Assist with light maintenance as needed to ensure building is maintained and in good condition by performing the following types of tasks: · Assist with moving equipment and furniture · Assist with maintenance of outdoor grounds · Assist with changing light bulbs and other minor repairs |
